My name is Mark, I’m one of the event organisers for the Felixstowe Classical Guitar Festival happening 12-13th September 2026.

We would like to invite you, your friends, family, colleagues and students to join us for an unforgettable celebration of music and artistry at the Felixstowe Classical Guitar Festival 12-13th September. This year’s event brings together world-renowned performers, emerging talents, makers and composers for a series of inspiring concerts, masterclasses and special performances that showcase the beauty of the classical guitar.

The Line Up in the Palm Court:

Saturday in the Palm Court: Matthew McAllister, Carlos Bonell, The Miyabi Duo, with an evening performance from Alexandra Whittingham.
Sunday in the Palm Court: Mark Harris, Rosie Bennet, Zoe Barnett. Headlining our Festival with an evening performance is Laura Snowden.

Activities in the Conservatory (Free to enter with valid ticket):

Saturday:

Alexandra Whittingham will be hosting a Masterclass. (See website for details)
Luthiery lectures from well known luthiers, hosted by James Lister.
A luthiery competition. (For entrance rules please see website)
and many UK luthiers will be showcasing their instruments across the weekend.

Sunday:

Sunday will see a lecture on composition by Steve Goss
The results of the composition competition (For entrance rules please see website)
Patrons have the chance to perform in our Sunday showcase. (See website for details)
